Full Time Support Worker Temporary to Permanent Potential Huddersfield £89 - £110 Per Day Flexible Start Dates. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are recent experience obtained within the last 2 years of working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting. We must be able to obtain references from these roles.
Overview: We are seeking Full Time Support Workers to work within our partner SEND school settings in Huddersfield. This role involves supporting young people and children with a range of special educational needs. Hours are 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. The Full Time Support Worker role involves supporting school‑aged pupils who have been identified as having additional needs. These needs range from Autism, PMLD, Complex needs, Mobility, SEMH and MLD.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years.
- Ability to provide valid references from these roles.
- Hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check registered to the Update Service.
- Committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
