Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated PPA Teacher to join our successful supply team and work within a welcoming primary school in the TS14 Guisborough area.
This is a part-time role, supporting PPA cover across the school.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality teaching across different year groups, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
The role will commence in September 2026 and is ongoing, with the potential to become long-term depending on the needs of the school.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous experience delivering lessons across the primary age range would be advantageous.
The Role
Working as part of a supportive and experienced teaching team, the desired PPA Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality learning opportunities for pupils across a range of classes.
Responsibilities may include
- Providing PPA cover across different year groups within the primary school.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress.
- Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of all learners.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting high expectations.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
- Supporting pupils' personal, social, and emotional development.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school community.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, passionate about teaching, and able to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential across a variety of classroom settings.
Requirements
To be considered for the PPA Teacher position, you will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Be confident in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Have high expectations of pupils' achievement and progress.
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Have a genuine passion for teaching and learning.
- Be flexible and confident adapting to different year groups and classroom environments.
