Vision for Education are recruiting for a School Administrator & Teaching Assistant to support schools across Grimsby & Louth.

About the role

This is a varied and rewarding position combining school office administration with classroom-based support. As part of the school admin function, you will:

  • Act as a first point of contact for pupils, staff, parents and visitors
  • Provide general office and administrative support
  • Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information

Alongside this, you will also:

  • Support teachers in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant
  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assist with behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Help pupils access learning and stay engaged in lessons

This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organisation, adaptability, and a positive, proactive attitude. The role will begin on a supply basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have previous administrative experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
  • Ideally have experience working with children or in a primary school setting
  • Be confident, approachable, and highly organised
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be adaptable and able to manage a varied workload
