About the Role

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre‑set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support students with their learning and engagement
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence managing groups of young people
  • A genuine interest in education or teaching
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
