About the Role
Working in partnership with Northern Lights Learning Trust, Vision for Education are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work across a number of primary schools in the Hartlepool area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are flexible, reliable, and passionate about supporting young learners across a variety of school settings. This is ad hoc work, offering flexibility to suit your availability, making it ideal for those seeking a better work-life balance or varied experience within education.
You will support teachers in delivering lessons, help pupils with their learning, and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with pupils
- Assist in the preparation of classroom resources
- Help manage classroom behaviour
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting
- A patient, supportive and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
