About the role
Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant
Ashford
Start date: September
£95 – £110 per day (dependant on experience relevant to role)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?
Vision for Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of specialist settings, including schools that support pupils with ASC, SEMH, PMLD, and complex needs.
We are currently recruiting for day to day supply, long term and temp to perm roles at our schools in Ashford
The Role:
- Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
- Adapting learning resources and activities to meet individual needs
- Helping manage behaviour in a nurturing and consistent manner
- Encouraging student independence and social development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children with SEN (in school, care, or community settings)
- A calm, patient, and flexible approach
- Team Teach, Makaton, or PECS training (desirable but not essential)
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to do one)
