Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and qualified EHCP Tutor to support secondary students in the Warringtonarea who need further assistance accessing education.
This is a rewarding opportunity ideal for maths and English tutors who excel at tailoring learning to meet individual needs, working toward students achieving their targets and breaking down barriers to learning.
The ability to build relationships with pupils who may exhibit challenging behaviour is a must. Sessions may take place in a variety of settings which means you must be flexible. Whilst part time, there is an opportunity for increased hours for the right tutor.
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, BA Ed etc.)
- Experience of working with SEND pupils
- Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
- Commitment to regular, scheduled tutoring sessions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible, and learner-centred teaching style
