ECT Secondary Teachers – Long-Term Roles

Greater Manchester

£145–£168.80 per day

Start: Summer Term or September 2026

Finishing your PGCE/QTS and looking to secure your first long-term role? We’re working with a range of supportive secondary schools across Greater Manchester seeking ECTs for long-term placements, with opportunities to continue into permanent roles. Day-to-day supply is also available, but the focus is on consistent, longer-term positions where you can settle in and develop.

The Role

  • Deliver lessons across your subject at KS3–KS4 (KS5 where relevant)
  • Take on full classroom responsibilities in long-term placements
  • Build relationships with students and staff
  • Plan, mark, and contribute to the department where required

What We’re Looking For

  • ECTs completing PGCE/QTS in 2026
  • Strong subject knowledge in your specialism
  • Confident classroom presence
  • Keen to secure a long-term position

What You’ll Get
