Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with children who have speech, language and communication needs, providing 1:1 support as well as small group assistance.
  • Supporting in the classroom, creating a calm environment in quieter areas of the school, or helping children engage with daily routines.
  • Empowering pupils to access their learning, build confidence, and feel included in school life.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 TA Qualification (Desirable but not essential).
  • ESSENTIAL: Valid driving license with access to own vehicle.
  • Previous paid experience in child based work.
  • Experience working with children who have SEN.
  • Have, or pay for an Enhanced DBS check and register on the Update Service.
  • Be available to work during school times.
  • Experience working in UK Schools (Desirable but not essential).
