About the role
Early Years Teacher (Part Time, Temporary)
Newcastle-upon-Tyne (NE4)
Β£360-561.48 per week (salary depends upon experience, qualifications and/or availability)
September 2025 β July 2026
The School and Role
We are looking for a part-time Early Years Class Teacher on behalf of a primary school in the NE4 area of Newcastle. The successful teacher will be expected to deliver outstanding teaching in accordance with the national curriculum, working as part of an established team in the Early Years section of the school. The role would be Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am β 3.30pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising the creation of a happy and friendly learning environment and the instillation of key values in their pupils, reflecting their role at the heart of the local community. The school is seeking a qualified teacher for this role.
Requirements
The desired Primary Class Teacher will have;
- Qualified Teacher Status within the UK
- Experience delivering teaching to Early Years children
- A hardworking, proactive and forward-thinking attitude
- A passion for ensuring the progress of pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND needs
