About the role

We are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our supply team and work in a SEND School in Durham. We support a wide range of schools across the area, enabling us to match you with a setting that suits your experience and preferences. As a Learning Support Assistant on supply, you’ll gain valuable experience across different parts of the school, supporting and encouraging students who may find learning or daily routines challenging for a variety of reasons. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be patient, resilient, hardworking, and understanding in their approach to supporting young people.

The Ideal Learning Support Assistant Will Have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
  • A genuine passion for education and helping others
  • A nurturing, engaging, and positive personality
  • The ability to promote positive behaviour, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing
