Vision for Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in the Dudley area with prior experience supporting pupils of a primary age with Special Educational Needs. The role starts from May half-term and continues into the next academic year.

Role Details

  • Working both one-to-one and in small groups with students with Special Educational Needs, outside of the classroom.
  • Following EHCPs and school guidelines.
  • Starting from May 2026 as a full-time member of staff with the potential to become a permanent member of the school.
  • Working between school hours of 08:30-15:30, Monday to Friday ongoing.

Requirements

  • Have had prior experience working effectively with a student with additional needs.
  • Have a keen passion for building a strong working relationship with pupils and providing them the best chance of developing.
  • Be able to commit to 5 days a week.
  • Ideally have a teaching assistant qualification; however, with the right experience this is not compulsory.
  • Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
