About the Role
Vision for Education are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teachers to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Driffield and the East Riding. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, education, youth work or pastoral support to gain valuable paid experience within secondary schools before progressing onto teacher training or a PGCE.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set work across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You will manage classroom behaviour, support students’ learning and contribute positively to the school environment.

- Supervising whole classes during teacher absences

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Graduate Teacher (Cover Supervisor), you will:
- Hold a degree or be currently studying towards one
- Have a passion for working with young people
- Be confident managing groups of students aged 11–16
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be adaptable, resilient and professional
- Ideally have experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.
