About the role

Are you a qualified Dance Teacher looking for a new role? Are you looking for flexibility or a better work/life balance? We are always looking to speak to teachers for day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply, whether you are available 1 day a week or full-time.

The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities.

You will be required to cover and teach Dance lessons within local Secondary schools and colleges. To fill up your timetable you may be required to do some PE/sports & general classroom cover, however we will offer a FREE training course to help adapt to working within the classroom and managing behaviour effectively.

Vision for Education work with schools and colleges across Preston, Lancashire and surrounding areas, including Blackpool, Blackburn and Lancaster. All our schools provide a welcoming and supportive environment for their supply teachers.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Dance you will:

  • Have experience teaching Dance to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
