KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary) Northumberland, Cramlington area £450 - £****** per week (depending on salary and experience) February **** – July ****
The School and Role
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in Cramlington, Northumberland. Working as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be supporting in a large class offering one to one support to a pupil in Year 4. When the one to one support isn't required, the Teaching Assistant will offer general classroom support. This will also include delivering daily maths and literacy interventions to small groups within this class. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.
Requirements
- Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally within Year 4 however not essential.
- Experience of delivering intervention support.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
- An ability to work as part of a team.
