Proudly introducing our National Teaching Assistant Programme in partnership with local schools, we aim to assist individuals in embarking on a career as Teaching Assistants.
The Programme
Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive training and gain paid on-the-job experience under the guidance of our partner schools. Upon a successful interview and completion of necessary checks, including safeguarding and identity verification, candidates will be placed in schools for paid placements to enhance their skills. Personal preferences regarding primary, secondary, or SEND provisions will be considered, with continuous support from dedicated consultants. Before commencing placements, candidates will undertake a training program conducted by ABC Teachers and school leaders, equipping them with essential Teaching Assistant skills.
Role
Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in the daily operations of schools, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to swiftly build positive relationships with both students and staff. Responsibilities may include behaviour management, intervention support, and assisting children with SEND, along with aiding in progress tracking and reporting.
