We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across primary schools in the Chigwell area. This role involves supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with additional needs (e.g. SEND)
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) or EHCPs
  • Encourage independence and confidence in learners
  • Assist with classroom preparation and general support duties

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with additional needs (preferred)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language needs) is desirable
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 LSA or TA) are an advantage but not essential
