Vision for Education is seeking an experienced Children’s Care Assistant to work in an SEN all-through School in Evesham on a full-time or part time basis.
About the Role
- As a Care Assistant your role will be to help support children with complex physical and medical needs and associated communication and learning needs.
- You need to be a pro‑active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable care assistant to join the team.
- This position would be to work with children across the primary and secondary age range from ages 3-19.
- You will support pupils with their day‑to‑day personal care needs and work alongside other professional staff to further pupils’ personal independence and skills.

About you
To be considered for the role of Children’s Care Assistant you will:
- Provide practical assistance in relation to other identified physical needs e.g. mealtimes, organisation of learning equipment.
- Recording and reporting on care needs.
- Assisting pupils in implementing their own personal care programmes during the school day, specifically in relation to practical support for; personal hygiene; toileting and continence training; and eating and drinking.
- Have experience in a similar role.
- Have, or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service.
