We are looking to recruit Early Career Supply Teachers (ECTs) for work starting in September 2026 based in secondary schools across Blackburn and the surrounding areas.

The desired Early Career Supply Teacher (ECT) will be working in our client secondary schools from September 2026. We have various roles available ranging from day-to-day supply cover to longer-term contracts. The Early Career Supply Teacher (ECT) will be responsible for delivering their subject across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to mixed-ability classes. We are looking for an Early Career Supply Teacher who is passionate and determined, with high expectations of behaviour and attainment. This is a great opportunity to work and gain experience in a range of secondary schools which could lead to long-term or permanent work. This is also a fantastic opportunity to work towards signing off part or all of your ECT induction.

To be considered for the role of Early Career Supply Teacher (ECT), you will:

  • Have experience of working with secondary school-aged children.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have a passion for the progress of secondary school pupils.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
