The Role
As a Trainee Primary Teaching Assistant, you will
- Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Encourage children's confidence, independence and participation.
- Help prepare learning resources and classroom activities.
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs.
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
We're looking for candidates who
- Have a genuine passion for working with children.
- Are patient, caring and enthusiastic.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Are reliable, adaptable and eager to learn.
- Have transferable experience from roles such as customer service, childcare, coaching, youth work or care (desirable but not essential).
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
