Complex Needs School in South Bristol.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of complex learning needs, helping them to access education, develop independence and reach their full potential.

The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.

The role is

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only . You will initially be employed on a

0-hour contract through Vision for Education, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position with the school for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils with complex additional needs both in and out of the classroom.
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver engaging, tailored learning.
  • Promoting independence, communication and social development.
  • Using a patient, positive and flexible approach to support pupils throughout the school day.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people.
  • Is patient, caring and resilient.
  • Can build positive relationships and adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
  • Previous experience supporting children or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential.
  • Holds an

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service , or is willing to obtain one through Vision for Education.
