Vision for Education is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Bradford-On-Avon on a full-time basis.
The role includes:
- 1:1 Student Support: Provide personalised support to students with additional needs in the classroom.
- Providing support and guidance to the student in their variety of learning needs and assistance with personal care/moving and handling with hoists.
- Delivering support to children aged 4 all the way through to 19 on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Building a trustworthy and lasting relationship with students, enabling them to shine bright.

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
- Be flexible.
- Ideally have your own transport or close public transport links.
- Experience with both small group and 1:1 is beneficial.
- Have friendly and nurturing qualities.
- Possess competent behaviour management skills.
- Have experience supporting children and young adults with a range of different learning needs and abilities – PMLD, MLD, ADHD, ADD, ASD, Global Delay, VI, HI, SEMH.
- Preferably have moving and handling training or recent experience in this.
- Have a patient and caring nature.
- Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Be willing to complete CPD training.
