Vision for Education are seeking experienced Sports Coaches to transfer into mainstream education delivering practical and classroom work as a Cover Supervisor in Blackburn Secondary schools.
The Role
- We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach on behalf of secondary schools in the Blackburn area.
- The role starts immediately with flexible short or long-term contracts.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver PE and general cover lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Build positive relationships and maintain high expectations of behaviour and attainment.
- Assist with general cover throughout the school, helping to transfer coaching skills into classroom teaching.
Qualifications & Experience
- Recent experience coaching or teaching Sport/PE.
- Committed and supportive team member.
- Experience working with children for 5 days or more.
- Recent coaching or teaching experience in sports with under 16s.
All staff undergo thorough interviewing, referencing and Enhanced DBS checks.
