Business Studies and Economics across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from you.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Business Studies and Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and exam board specifications.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and support students in achieving their potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a successful and forward-thinking department.
- Encourage students to develop an understanding of business, finance and economic principles relevant to the modern world.
- The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics in a UK secondary school or sixth form.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of all abilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
