We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in March.
This role involves supporting a child with additional needs, providing consistent one-on-one assistance to help them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a mainstream classroom environment.
About the role
- Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN (e. g ASD, ADHD, or additional learning needs)
- Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs and support their educational and personal development
- Assist with emotional regulation and implement positive behaviour strategies
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets
- Encourage independence, engagement, and social interaction to foster a supportive learning environment

- Experience supporting children with SEN, whether in a school, care, or similar background.
