The LA are looking for an experienced teacher to provide face to face tuition to students who are out of a mainstream setting. The desired 1-2-1 Tutor will be working 2:1 with students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and ASD. The 1-2-1 Tutor role is long term to provide consistency for students and work towards breaking down barriers to learning and to give the student the confidence to reach their full potential.

Requirements

  • A professional Teaching Qualification (QTS / QTLS)
  • Experience of working with young people with EHCPs
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH and ASD
  • A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
