The Role

As a Classroom Care Assistant, your primary responsibility is to provide essential support to students within our EYFS and Primary SEND School. You will assist with personal care, and hygiene, administer medications, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with teachers, implement behaviour management strategies, and contribute to maintaining accurate records. Your empathy, effective communication, and adaptability will be key assets in fostering student well-being and academic progress.

Requirements

The requirements for the Classroom Care Assistant position are:

Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
Be resilient and able to meet demands of a special school setting.
Understands the needs of students with learning difficulties.
Be reliable in both attendance and punctuality.
Drive or be willing to use public transport.
