Y5 Teaching Assistant – Part Time – September 2026 Thornaby Ts17 – £222 per week (based on 2.5 days per week) Vision for Education is looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work within a welcoming primary school in the Thornaby TS17 area. This is a part-time role, working 2.5 days per week during school hours. The successful candidate will provide general classroom support within a Year 5 class, working closely with the class teacher to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing. The role will commence in September 2026 and is ongoing, with the potential to become long-term depending on the needs of the school. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is a Level 3 qualification or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning. Previous experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2 is desirable.
