Teaching Assistant – Part Time
Middlesbrough TS4 area – £13.68 per hour
Vision for Education is looking to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a primary school in the TS4 Middlesbrough area.
This is a part time Teaching Assistant role, 5 days a week 12:30pm until 3:30pm, working a role of a TA in a Middlesbrough school supporting 2 children with complex range of needs.
This role will commence Janaury 2026 and will be on going with a potential to become long term, depending on the needs of the school at the time.
SEND experience essential to the role, also someone who is patient and pro active.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 3 or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning would be desirable to the role.
The Role
Working as part of a passionate teaching team, the desired teaching assistant will focus on providing a high standard of support of 2 children with complex send needs. Must be flexible to changing environments and working within small intervention groups.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

- Experience in a SEND Environment would be essential to the role
- Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in an school environment.
- Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Have experience supporting children in primary education
