Job Description
Vision for Education are looking to appoint passionate and highly motivated Secondary Teachers to work in Pembrokeshire secondary schools on a supply basis. We are seeking teachers with a specialism in Science and who would be able to cover schools within Fishguard and the surrounding areas. You will be required to cover lessons for a range of year groups from Year 7 to Year 11 through the medium of English. Candidates with a background in Biology, Chemistry or physics are welcome to apply. These positions are currently on a temporary day to day basis but could lead to longer term and regular work if this is something you desire. The schools have great transport links and you can decide which areas you would like to work in. All supply sessions you complete will count towards your Induction Period if you are currently undertaking your NQT year.
Requirements:
The desired Teacher will have:
- QTS and recent experience teaching in a secondary school
- A subject specialism in Science
- A creative background which can be brought to the classroom
- The ability to motivate and engage students
- The ability to de-escalate challenging behaviours
- Passion for teaching and the progress of pupils
