We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants with relevant experience to join our vibrant team in Bournemouth. In this rewarding role, you will collaborate closely with teachers and students to provide personalized support, promote independence, and help each child reach their full potential. Location: Bournemouth

Working Hours: Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Pay: £440 - £450 per week

Start Date: September 2025

About the School & Role:

Based in Bournemouth, our Alternative Provision Schools support primary and secondary students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including those displaying challenging behaviours. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work either 1-1 or within small groups to support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing, helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored support during lessons and activities
  • Assist in implementing personalised behaviour and learning support plans
  • Promote positive behaviour and social skills development
  • Support communication and sensory needs
  • Build trusting relationships to foster independence and confidence

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with children or young people in educational or related settings
  • Demonstrated experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural needs
