Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Full-time / Temporary Sheffield £95 - £135 per Day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) ASAP –Ongoing

The School and Role

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to start a long-term, temporary requirement at a Primary School in Sheffield. The role will be initially to cover PPA time across school; however, it would be desired to have knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and a passion for Forest School.

The school's requirements are:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • To have experience working with children with SEN and additional needs
  • To have good knowledge of safeguarding
  • To be able to create good relationships with pupils, parents and carers, and staff members

The school is a fast-paced environment with an exceptionally supportive and outward-facing leadership team. You will need strong behaviour management skills to work successfully in this school and have a firm but fair approach to teaching.
