£650 - £1000 per week
This position is a long term vacancy, however for the right applicant this position is offering a temporary to permanent position.
Role requirements:
- The applicant is required to hold a UK QTS qualification and have previous experience working with students with special educational needs in either a mainstream School or SEND School setting.
- You will be required to deliver quality lessons within a diverse classroom setting while providing guidance and support to a variety of different learning needs.
- Students with special educational needs require consistency and continuity, meaning it is essential that our staff are reliant and trustworthy individuals.
While the role holds its challenges, it is an extremely rewarding career leaving a lasting positive impact on a young person’s life every day.
The school:
This school provides specialist education for young people aged 11-19 years old with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Conditions) and Communication and Interaction difficulties. The school has a recent Ofsted provider rating of ‘Good’ and is passionate about providing the best quality of education and care to their students. The right candidate must in turn, share these school values.
To be considered for the position you must:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with children with a variety of SEND.
- Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and support staff.
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
