Are you an innovative Teacher with a multitude of skills and the ability to teach both ICT and Design and Technology? Sept 2026 start. Vision for Education is currently recruiting on behalf of Secondary schools in and around the Rotherham area, who currently require support with their need for a Teacher of DT with some KS3 ICT within the timetable.
The role is a supply role, however would be a part-time or full-time teacher who is looking to teach flexible days that could lead to a long-term role within one school setting for the right candidate. The working days would involve a mixed timetable of a range of KS3 and KS4 DT subjects, and ICT at KS3 within the timetable. This role would be best suited for a Design Technology specialist who is ICT savvy, or has an interest in computing.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status OR experience of teaching in Secondary Schools as a Cover Supervisor.
RequirementsTo be considered for the position of DT Teacher, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Science in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE level.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists.
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
