The predicted salary is between 30000 - 46000 £ per year.
Full Time - Monday – Thursday - 8:45am – 15:45pm (Temporary, to permanent) Sheffield (S11)
Pay to scale – £150 - £220 Per Day. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: UK QTS and experience working with students with special educational needs and behaviours that challenge.

The role:
As a SEND Teacher, you will be required to support the class in the delivery of lessons within food technology, whilst also providing support and guidance to the students in their variety of learning needs. Working with students with special educational needs is an extremely rewarding environment to work in, however it can be challenging getting to know the needs of students and therefore this role benefits from consistency and continuity. Ideally for this role you will have had experience working with social, emotional and mental health needs of children or young adults, ASD, ADHD, MLD and emotional behaviour difficulties.

Based in a secondary SEND provision in the Sheffield (S11) area, the school caters for needs including but not limited to SEMH, ASC, ADHD and EBD. This school is passionate about providing the best quality of education, care and specialist support for all their pupils and puts them at the centre of everything they do. It is important that this is at the forefront of your values also.
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and subject specialism of food technology.
- Experience working with children with a variety of SEND including but not limited to, MLD/SLD/PMLD/ASD/SEMH/SEBD/PD/VI/HI and other complex needs.
- Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSA’s.
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
- Ideally be Team Teach trained or willing to undertake a course free of charge through us.
