The Role

We are looking to appoint a committed Teacher of Science to join a thriving secondary school in Preston, Lancashire from September 2026. This temporary long-term role will run for the full academic year, offering consistency, stability and the opportunity to make a real impact. The successful Teacher of Science will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and marking in line with school expectations, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs who are confident teaching Science in a secondary setting.

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
