Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Classroom Cover Supervisor to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools across the Cumbria area for immediate starts. Have you worked with children in a previous role? Have you worked as a sports coach and would now like to gain experience of working in a school setting? Are you looking to get into teaching? The desired Cover Supervisor be working within a school environment and be supervising pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), providing flexible support to cover short-term staff absence. Delivering pre-planned lessons, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get into teaching or working within a school. This is role has a flexible starting position and can be either ad-hoc, short term or ongoing long-term position for what ever suits your availability. About the school We work with a number of schools across the Cumbria area that require support within the classroom. Requirements To be considered for the role of Classroom Cover Supervisor you will: Have a passion for working with children Great classroom management skills Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching Ideally a degree, but this is not essential What we offer As a Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
