We are currently seeking a dedicated Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful primary school in Plymouth. This role will provide you with the opportunity to support students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), as well as those requiring additional support.

Key Information About the Role:

  • Position: Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant
  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday, term-time
  • Ideal for: Aspiring Educational Psychologists, Teachers, or other related fields
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Support primary-aged students with EHCPs, working with them individually or in small groups (up to 5 students).
    • Implement behaviour management strategies to help students with socialisation, building routines, and emotional regulation.
    • Assist students with both academic and pastoral aspects of their school life, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
    • Build positive relationships with both students and staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
