Year 2 Teacher (Full Time) Ashington, Northumberland £600 – £1258.55 per week November 2025- December 2025 The School and Role We are currently looking to recruit a confident and professional Year 2 (KS1) Teacher to work in a friendly primary school in the Northumberland, Ashington area. This will be in an average sized Year 2 class, where there is already an experienced and established Teaching Assistant. Some of the children have SEND and are working at a lower ability and therefore will require some one on one support. This is a large school and offers a lot of support and learning opportunities. The role will be full time, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and offers a lot of additional support to their supply staff. Requirements The desired Year 2 (KS1) Teacher will have; Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally within a Key Stage 1 class Experience of working with pupils with SEND A passion for the progress of primary school pupils An ability to work as part of a team QTS within the UK What we offer As a part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
