The School and Role

Vision for Education is currently seeking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teacher to work on a part-time basis at a school in Gateshead (NE16) from September 2026. The KS1 Teacher appointed for the role will be covering part of a job-share class in Year 1, working 3 days per week. Knowledge of teaching phonics (preferably Read, Write, Inc.) is desirable, and there will be a responsibility to communicate effectively with the other teacher. This is a ‘Good’ school, where pupils feel happy and supported in school.
