The School and Role
We are looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant on behalf of a primary school in Hebburn. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver both general as well as one-to-one support, working as part of an established team in the Key Stage 1 section of the school. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am 12pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising both caring and quality support to deliver an excellent pupil development programme. The school is ideally seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, however would be open to other teaching qualifications and experience if relevant.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with children with SEND
- A passion for ensuring the progress of pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
- Ideally Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, however candidates with relevant qualifications and/or experience are encouraged to apply
