Vision for Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant in Northumberland to join our supportive school team. You will work closely with teachers to support students\’ learning, provide one-to-one or small group assistance, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Experience working with children is preferred but not essential. This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to make a real difference in SEND education. All prospective candidates are subject to a full right to work check and need an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of working with secondary and primary school aged children in schools.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.
- An ability to work as part of a team.
- An ability to build rapport quickly with students
- Key qualities such as: Patience, Sympathetic, Strong-willed
