This part-time role focuses on supporting children in Reception with special educational needs. Your Role as a SEND Teaching Assistant:
As a SEND TA, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs in Reception. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Helping deliver personalised learning plans and interventions
- Encouraging communication, independence, and social skills
- Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning atmosphere
