Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children and young people with additional needs?

We are currently seeking a SEND Sports Assistant to join our excellent supply agency and work in SEND Schools across Durham. We work with a wide range of schools in the area, so we can find a setting that suits your skills and interests. As a SEND Sports Assistant, you will help deliver enjoyable and inclusive physical activities that promote fitness, teamwork and confidence among pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

The successful Sports Assistant will be energetic, reliable, and confident working with children and young people in schools. Coaching experience and strong communication skills are essential. A DBS on the Update Service is required, or you must be willing to obtain one.

  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEND
