Vision for Education are seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant with experience working with Children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to start a full-time, long term to start in November 2025.

About the role
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be; committed, resilient and have the desire to want to make a difference to the lives of some of our most vulnerable young people. You will create a stimulating, safe and structured environment for pupils with complex needs and be \’on call\’ for anyone in crisis/who may need emotional support or guidance.
The desired SEMH Teaching Assistant will have;
Use judgement and creativity to plan and deliver interventions according to the needs of the young people
The ability to use initiative and be proactive
Kind and nurturing approach to the complex needs young people can face
