On behalf of the Connect Multi-Academy Trust, based in the County Durham area, Vision for Education is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2026.

The SEN Primary Teaching Assistant will work in a KS1 SEN provision where pupils mainly have SEMH needs.

The role involves supporting the children to make progress towards learning goals.

This is a Good school, where pupils enjoy coming to school and feel supported in their learning.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
