The School and Role
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at this Primary School in Gateshead (NE11) from September 2026. The role of the Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant will involve working across Nursery and KS1, supporting generally and on a 1:1 basis for pupils with SEND. Flexibility across EYFS and KS1 would be required for this role, and the school can provide training opportunities. This is a school where staff work together to ensure all pupils have access to meaningful learning opportunities.
Requirements
The desired Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
