KS2 Teaching Assistant (Part-time, Temporary) Chester-le-Street, DH2 £260 – £280 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) September 2025 – July 2026 The School and Role This Primary School in the Chester-le-Street area (DH2) is currently looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time basis. The role of the KS2 Teaching Assistant will include delivering intervention/catch-up sessions to pupils who need additional academic support – this could involve both low and high attaining pupils. The TA will be required to give feedback to the class teacher about progress. This is a ‘Good’ school, where staff go above and beyond to ensure each child has the tools they need to achieve.
