The School and Role

Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a motivated KS1 Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time basis at a school in Chester-le-Street (DH2). The successful KS1 Teaching Assistant will be working across both Year 1 and Year 2 at school, to provide a range of support to pupils (interventions, 1:1 SEND support, general classroom). The role is part-time for 3 days per week This vibrant primary school creates a welcoming atmosphere, and strives to give each child meaningful learning opportunities.

Requirements

The desired KS1 Teaching Assistant will have;

– Experience of working with primary school aged children

– Experience of working with pupils with SEND

– A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

– An ability to work as part of a team
