A First School based on the outskirts of Newcastle city centre is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The successful applicant will be working within a busy Year 1 class and prior experience of the KS1 Curriculum is essential for this role. The Senior Leadership team would like to appoint a nurturing, encouraging and knowledgeable TA for this role, to best support the transition from Reception. This is a full-time, long-term role with potential to turn permanent.
Requirements
- Experience of working within KS1.
- Experience of supporting children with SEND.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A calm and approachable manner.
